Our Mission
Operation Appreciation proudly supports active service members in the Georgia Guard & Reserves, (disabled) veterans, military spouses and/or caregivers, & immediate family members; to include our littlest heroes - the children (encompassing complete military elements).
Our support goes beyond the military member, beyond the unit; we also reach into the families to keep them strong during and after military service to our great nation. Our mission is to bridge the gap between need-awareness-service support for said service members.
Our team wholeheartedly believes that a healthy family equals a healthy service member. When the service member knows their family is taken care of they are able to stay in the mission, focus, and complete their mission to return home safely to their loved ones. Nothing. Absolutely nothing is more important.
Our guarantee to each individual is supported through our non-profit: ensured confidentially. Our mission requires each of our volunteers to never use someone’s situation/loss/grieve for influential purposes, statistical or financial gain.
We are not afraid of hard work, getting dirty, long hours, doing research, and developing relationships to bridge the gap from “initial request” to “mission complete”. Our board members, community partners, and volunteers offer their support through the love of country & gratitude for those who serve and protect. Our only requirements are "willingness to show up and make a difference". We rely on generous hearts and the desire to give back within the community. Building strong bonds, having the correct foundation in place, and working within the communities where we live, work, and play makes Operation Appreciation effective and successful.
All of our board members donate to our mission with both their time and financial contributions. We are all “100% invested” in the mission and core value of Operation Appreciation.
